Influence of Starvation on the Liver fat storing cell in vitamin E Treated Mice

Abstract
|
|
|
Histological studies were attempted to detect the behaviour of fat storing cell of mice fasted for various experimental -perid after 5mg vitamin E injection´ per day for -20 days´ and to observe the brown fat tissue and liver through the change of their fat droplets which seems to be. readily affected in the various nutritional status
The results obtained are summerized as follows:
1. The synthesis of fat´ in the´ fat storing cell was accelerated by vitamin E.
2. The fat droplets contained within-´the fat storing cell seemed to be utilized for the hepatocytes
3. Brown fat tissue was readily´, affected by starvation
4. Vitamin E induces-decrease of the amount of fat droplets within the brown fat tissue
5. It appears that there is a decreace in the resistance against starvation in the mice treated with vitamin E
